Open Expansion Tank
For MTA TAEevo product line only
Instructions:
- Facilitates cooling loop filling by manually pouring coolant into external reservoir
- Provides a visual indication of coolant level and top-off convenience
- Must be installed at the highest point of the coolant loop to avoid overflow possibility
Instructions:
- Install components as shown making sure that valves A & B are open and valve C is closed.
- Add water or water-coolant mixture into the tank opening D.
- Continue filling slowly until a level is maintained at about half of the expansion tank volume.
- Operate the chiller pump to circulate coolant throughout the coolant loop.
- Add coolant as required to maintain a steady level in the tank and top off as needed.
